Please everyone I really need help on this one. I recently bought a plant from a nursery (and I use that term loosely) but it didn't have an official tag on it. The nursery owner referred to it as butterfly flower plant so I've been trying to find information about it using that title but the examples they give do not come close to resembling the plant I bought. Forgive my description since I am a novice gardener, anyway, my plant right now is about 12-18 inches in height with a blue and white flower which does resemble a tiny butterfly. There are several such flowers on each stalk. That's the best description I can give. Does anyone have a clue as to what this plant might be??? Thanks in anticipation.
Thanks for the rapid response. I kept searching the internet and found out the plant is a butterfly clerodendrum (clerodendrum myricoides ugandense) native to tropical Africa, and thankfully great for a novice gardener. Thanks again for your help. Great website by the way.
