Member # 2222 posted                       I just went outside to look at my buddleia. It's just starting to shoot out new growth. (zone 6b) It does seem to have the same pattern in new shoot growth. Also, there is that one dried bloom cluster at the very top of the photo. Member # 2222 posted                       I would cut the old ugly stems back to the ground, or at least to where new growth is shooting out as you get more flowers on new growth anyway. I have never fertilized mine, but I have transplanted them. They take a year or two to really start growing again, however. They just sit there for awhile not getting much bigger.
