Is there a webpage somewhere that will tell me what zone I am in? I am in zones 4-6 according to different maps. How can I be sure?

Thanks, Crystal! For years everyone said we were in zone 5, now everything, including the link you posted, says zone 6, so I'm very pleased!

I always thought it looked like zone 4 or 5 as a toss up for me. I am in zone 6 also.
I tried the garden help map but right where everything dips is where we are and I am to blind to tell what is what Plants: 40 | From: Chillicothe, Ohio | Registered: Mar 2007

HAH. They STILL can't figure me out! My zip code is apparently a toss-up between 7 & 8. I'm leaning more toward 8 because of my privacy fence...

Thanks, Sybil! I knew the Garden Helper hardiness chart put me in zone 6a because I am right across the river from St. Louis and we get whatever they get, including all the storms.

Crystal, I know what you mean because whenever I looked at the zone maps, I couldn't quite tell where we were. I thought it always looked like we were in zone 5, but I really like being in zone 6a a whole lot better. Of course, now it's costing me more money because it means there are so many more plants that I can buy.

Crystal, are zone 6a too? We got hit with some pretty heavy rain last night after I had seeded my lawn and watered it.

It said I was just zone 6. We had some major rain. I need to get some grass going as well to fit my crabgrass weed. I haven't got going on that yet tho...

Right now, I'm just trying to do the things I can when the weather is nice. I've learned not to do anything in the garden that is questionable until the weather is a little more predictable. A few stores around here are already starting to get some annuals in, but I've been burned too many times before to go down that road again until later in the season.
