Ok, I started my very first attempts at seeds. I am starting with Columbine and Rose of Sharon. I did some in "pots" (cut off pop bottles with seed starter) and some in the paper towel/baggie method. It's so sunny out today but only 45 degrees, so I guess it's not warm enough for them to be outside. I will keep them in my East kitchen window where I have a flourescent light that stays on most of the time. I'll keep you posted.

Amy did you research the columbine first? They have different growing needs that most.

Hey Tammy! I know they need a cold period, so they have been in my fridge for a couple of months. Is there anything else they need? And the Rose of Sharon I soaked overnight and planted the ones that sank. I have a bunch of other stuff I am going to try the wintersowing with. Any tips would be appreciated!
