Hi,

Just wondering what herbs and flowers would like to be planted around a natural spring... goofy thing is clear and not frozen at all and it's been 0 to 12 degrees out...

Sweet Flag, Amaranthus, Comfrey *but is deep rooted and stays forever, Dill, Ground Ivy, Chameleon Plant~Houttuynia cordata 'Chameleon'
*that stuff can be verrrrrrrry invasive*

and Sweet Woodruff loves moist soil,
but also creeps and creeps big..
but it's a good "other kind of weed" keeper out of type plant.. It creeps and covers really well and not much can grow between it..
and has pretty white dainty flowers too..

I know, I feel the same way about
Bishop's Weed, but in some circumstances,
like bank control *so the banks don't erode
when water flows thru and floods alot*
or people want color in shady places with no mowing..
It does have it's plus side.. [Roll Eyes]
but for everything else, I despise it in the regular garden...and the plant you mentioned
is it's cousin...
