I've had these two plants for a little over a year now so I've figured out how to care for them, but I would love to have a name for them, a "real" name. I've provided two pictures for the first plant so that the shape and the markings can be seen. It reminds me of Mother-In-Law's Tongue or Sansevieria trifasciata except that it's cylindrical as opposed to the leaves being flat like the other plant. The other plant is adorable. I call it "lots of hearts".

The first one is a Sansevieria. I think those types are called Sansevieria cylindrical, not sure which one though. The second one looks like a Dischidia ruscifolia, but I am not 100% sure on that one.

I love the hanging plant with the heart-shaped leaves.I guess I am mostly attracted to it as I grow alot of ivy and philodendron and others that trail. What kind of light and care does it require?Where did you purchase it?
