These things have been growing wild in our area for the past few years. It seemed that all of a sudden they popped up out of nowhere! A woman who works at a small nursery nearby calls them the "alien plant" - they can get very big and tall!
I've had a few start to grow down by my rock wall, but have pulled them out - I didn't want them to spread all over once I allowed a few to grow.
That said... they are pretty! Just... somewhere else!

I am new to the Garden Forum and have been reading over many of the entries. I just want to thank Angelblossom for including that wonderful site that identifies weeds! Weeding is a HUGE chore in my gardens and it is interesting to find out the names. Many thanks!
