I found the most interesting thing growing on the side of the brick flower bed we made this year. They look like a toadstool/mushroom type of growth but it appears to be an almost translucent pink in color. And the heads/caps(?) are kind of a languid wavy type of top. It looks like something that should be growing on a coral reef almost rather than on the side of my flower box. Anyone know anything about toadstools?

I had some on one of the logs in my rock garden - they looked like a little family all clustered together.
Trouble is, they don't stay that way - they look awful after a while.
I love mushrooms and toadstools.
Those ones that sometimes show up in the grass - not the big white ones - I just let those grow or die - whatever they wanna' do. But those little wee ones - they too look good at first but awful later. They're also not good for the grass.
Oh, now there I am - the expert on mushrooms and toadstools - pay no attention to my blathering - I know nothing about them.
