Hi, I have had a plant that was given to me by my cousin, it has purple velvet leaves on the topside and dark green on the underside, it is a vine like plant, or a climbing ivy, what i would really like to know is the proper name for it. I was told it is a purple vine, but i have yet to find information on it. Cheers for your help.

Purple Potato Vine Is it like this? It has green and purple leaves. Although it does sound more like the purple passion plant now that I think about it.

Hi Arlene, What I would do is find the Carnivorous Insectivores section, click on the above link and post a question there... *and I know there's a post there right now, I posted some info links to the Main Pages of Bills' here at The Garden Helper...*
I don't grow them, so, I can't really answer it for you... but I do know we have gardener's here that do...
Any other help, just give a holler...
P/S I have relatives where you live, and my one uncle goes over there alot...
