Author Garden: mystery plant Arlene211 Gardener Member # 10691 posted                       Hi, I have had a plant that was given to me by my cousin, it has purple velvet leaves on the topside and dark green on the underside, it is a vine like plant, or a climbing ivy, what i would really like to know is the proper name for it. I was told it is a purple vine, but i have yet to find information on it. Cheers for your help. Right up on the North coast of Scotland. There is a beautiful Fishing Village called Pennon, that is (or was) on our ancestral Lands, It's was called "Auchmedden"...
