Um, can you take another picture for more perspective??? Like put a dime next to it..

Also, Like how long is it?
How the leaves join the stem...
Any flower buds or identifing oddities!!!

It sort of looks like ground ivy to me,
but if the leaf is that big, it wouldn't be..

for some reason, it reminds me of a squash/cucumber/melons (etc.) vine of some sort, I see the stalk seems quite thick so just a guess

Okay, that is definately NOT ground ivy..
That leave is wayyyyyy to big..

Now you're sayin' it's a vine...
does it have any climbing tendrils?
or how does it "vine"????
*not being funny, but it's not jumpin' out at me
for what it is, so, we then see if we can find the "family" it's in*

***that is, unless someone does identify it.***
but I need (please) a vine section, or other identifing traits..
*give it a wee~bit of time, others may very well come thru and KNOW IT, I just don't*
But we'll get you close to knowing it.. [thumb]

thanks , Weezie.
I just kind of assumed, vine. I think it may just be something else. I didn't see anything trailing.
not a big deal if its just a weed. like I say, its under the deck. curiosity just kicked.

I think it resembles the leaves of a grape vine. If it's not a real grape vine it could be something from the same family.

Here's a link to a random picture of grape leaves, just for reference: http://www.hort.purdue.edu/ext/senior/fruits/images/large/grapesleaf.jpg
