I have mystery plants I would like some help in identifying. I started these plants from seeds. With the help of a couple of family members, my id tags were lost. (I wonder how that happened)? LoL I am attempting to post pics of these mystery plants. Any help anyone can offer in identifying these plants would be greatly appreciated. I know they are perennials but that's all I know. This is my first time trying to post pictures so I'm not sure how successful I will be. Thanks in advance!!

Yes, I did plant chinese lanterns! Also, I planted blanket flower, foxglove and climatis seeds. Unfortunately, I don't know what survived and what's growing. LoL

Thanks, Nettie!!!!! You are the best! I'm going to try to keep these going inside during the winter with grow lights. Do you know if florescent lights will work? Or do I have to buy the expensive metal halide lights?

Sorry Mocha260 I can't give you much advice there...I don't use lights and know little about them. I'm sure someone else will come along soon who knows more about them.

Mocha, I'm just curious as to why you aren't going to plant your seedlings outside now so they can get established before winter? Or do you have a greenhouse?

I had problems with rabbits eating some of my plants and I couldn't bear to lose them to a rabbit. So, until I can find a sure method of keeping the rabbits away I wanted to raise them inside. These are the first plants I have raised from seeds.

Good thinking...the rabbits would consider them as fresh salad makings. I think you would definitely need grow lights but I don't know anything about them. Normally, you would have started those types of seeds 4 - 6 wks before last frost date in the spring, to be planted out when the soil and temps have warmed up to allow the plants to go through their normal growth cycle.
