Hi again guys, I found a small patch of these growing around a tree on someone's front yard. There were lots of dried flowers and I take it that there are lots of seeds. I pulled apart a dried flower and it was filled with seeds! Problem is, I have no clue as to what the are, the flowers are about the size of a penny. Thanks so much for the quick iden. of the tree last time! -

Thanks, but I'm not too sure that they're Chrysanthemum, they'r really short I'd say about a foot or so tall only. You guys think I should go ahead and get seeds first and then wait for for a confirmation from someone later?

Kennyso does this look like your white flower
http://www.sierraflowerfinder.com/sys_fid.asp?FID=3798&COL=0&CP=2<R=&L=54464862848637

Click on disbuds/mums next to the white flower and there are a lot of white flowers there I did find a few sites that have leaves structure this is the best I could find for Chrysanthemums

Unfortunately, no, those are not my flowers. I took the flower to the florist across the street (a new one, the first one's leaves were all curled up) and before I even took it to her, I saw pot of mums and chrysanthemums on sale. Boy, those blooms are a ton bigger (at least two to three times). I'll keep on loking. It's gonna take a few more tries - Angelblossom, I really appreciate your effort and time looking up those links!

Gardenewbie, I think you've solved the mystery! I googled up feverfew and sure enough, tha's what they are. I think I know why it might have been hard to distinguish - the centers of these flowers are faded, you cannot see the yellow! I'm going to see if I can get fresher flowers and I'll show a picture of those if I can. I'm also collecting seeds if anyone's interested, let me know
