I have a beautiful plant growing wild near my home. I can't find it with any searches. The nearest thing to it is Lamb's ear. The leaves are soft, whitish green and close to the ground. The plant puts a long thin stalks with quarter size soft dark deep red flowers on the very ends. Does this sound familiar to anyone. I have no Idea and it's driving me crazy...any suggestions.

My rose campion has deep red flowers on the end of branches. Since I can't get pics to upload on the post, there is a pic on my flickr page of my rose campion.

OOPS!!!!! I have looked closely at Buzylady's pic of Rose Campion.... that's it.... the only difference is that the pictured flowers look doubled or at least fuller than mine. My flowers have only 5 deep red petals that are slightly paler toward the middle..... but I do have my answer. Everything else is the same... Thanks to everyone.
