Hi all

I have several pink like looking roses that are growing along a creek on my property, mixed in with cattails etc, I would like to take a cutting they are so pretty, but not sure what it is?
looks like a tiny tea rose, but growing all over by water and fields.

Will try to get a pic for you to see

It is neat...

Angie

Is this the roses you are talking about?
It grows everywhere here...all along the sides of the roads, in fields, etc.

I have no idea what it is, really.
They just grow wild all over the place, so I cut a little piece (about 4 inches) off of one at a job we were on a few years ago and stuck it in my pocket to plant when I got home.
The rest is history. That sucker has spread all over the entire middle garden! One of the branches got almost 30 feet long last summer!
In the fall I cut it completely back to the ground...and that's what it has done just so far this spring...what you see in the picture.

I love it...it looks beautiful in my yard!
And it blooms all summer!

It would be perfect to grow on a bank somewhere, where it was hard to mow. It chokes out the weeds all by it's own bad self! [thumb]
