This blue-flowering groundcover is draught tolerant & withstands winter freeze (to 25* as far as I know).
 -

Although it spreads out, I don't think you could call it invasive, as it has a definite stalk & the branches don't set down roots.
 -

It does well in full Sun & partial shade.
 -

Name please? [dunno]

hmmmmmmmm - Interesting, Patty.

My first guess is trailing lobelia also.
I'm not quite sure though, but it surely is pretty!

Boy Christina, now that I see that, I'm almost sure it's what I've got here! I looked up Lobelia & found that it's an annual. This was here when we moved in 3 years ago & is still going strong, so I'm assuming that it IS Lithodora. (They sure do look a lot alike!)

Thanks! [thumb]

Patty, those flowers are really pretty! [thumb] I had Lobelia many years ago, but I don't even remember what it looked like. [dunno] I checked the site posted and the picture does look a lot like what you have. [Wink]

Hmm, I LOVE that ground cover. I have one here that looks very much like that, but the flowers are red...and it's considered "invasive" because of its spread. Here it isn't in a flowerbed, its in the backyard. Hmm...wonder if I can transplant it to more desireable spots.
