My grandmother recently got a plant that we have no idea what it is. She got it from her sister's house after her sister passed away.

It is a medium sized plant with a thick Snake plant like leaves with spines along the edges. The leaves have gray mottling on them much like a Snake plant. There is a large pinky spiny blossom growing from the center of the plant.

Any help identifying this plant would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have a photo since I only saw it for the first time yesterday and didn't have my camera with me. I'll take my camera and get a pic of it if no one knows what it is from the description.

Are you sure it's not a Snake Plant? There are different varieties of Snake Plants and if properly cared for, they do bloom. Just a thought. [dunno]
