I'm using a plastic pot that has holes at the bottom, I just checked and I realised there's many more holes than in other pots I have. Is this what could be causing the problem?

I also have mine started in small plastic pots witha hold in the bottom. I put those pots in a plastic cake tray with a lid and on top of the fridge so they have some warmth. I pretty much forget about them up there and just check them every once in a while to put some water in the container. It keeps very moist and the leaves are doing well.
