well we bought a couple of kaffir lilys today, and when i had a look at the label it says very little, ie position in good light, in a warm room, keep moderately moist, and feed with multipurpose plant food.. em how often? yearly-monthly,, also it looks pretty root bound, does it like this, or does it need repoting ? last of all, what is the flower like?
thanks Mark.

My kaffir lillies are outside. And I do not know how often to feed indoor potted ons. They do like crowded conditions for the best blooms though. I would choose a weak solution every six weeks to start to see how they do. There are some variations in the colors but they get very expensive. They send up a stalk from the center of the plant like amaryllis but a little shorter. The blooms are (most of the time) a vivid red/orange color in cluster at the top of the stalk. Late winter, very early spring. My stalks are coming up right now.
