My newly planted dahlias are being eaten up by the earwigs that are a real nuisance this year. Is there anyone out there who knows of a way to get rid of these pesky EARWIGS ?? They are ugly and spooky !!! [Mad]

One way is to put some lengths of old garden hose about the garden. The earwigs will hide inside thru the day. Go out each morning and shake or blow them into a bucket of water or feed them to your chickens. Or you can trap them using old sacks or cardboard and paper. The point is to make a cool damp place for them to hide and empty it each day. You'll wipe out lots in a few days. No cost, no sprays.

Always feed them to my chickens.

Now that my sunflower's bottom leaves are drying up they are hanging out inside the dead leaf.
I crush the leafs and they come out and my chickens feast! [thumb]
