We have a rhododendren that is about 8 feet tall and we would like to prune it to fit the rest of the new shrubs at our house. Is this possible or should we replace this beautiful shrub too? Thanks for all advice!

rhodys can be pruned. they take the pruning best right after they have finished blooming. that is because you don't want to lose your blooms for next year. and, they can take a severe pruning, but it may take a year to get full again.
