I really like this plant, but don't know much about it. Any & all information would really be appreciated. There is also a yellow twig dogwood. Thank you, StanetteTN6

I don't have much experience with them, but the red twig, or red osier dogwood, tolerates wet soil, and is a compact, non-invasive shrub. It should be hardy in your area. Give it a go!

I'm in zone 4 and the Red Osier Dogwood is native here. They grow by the thousands, we call them 'Wattles'. They certainly don't seem to need much care. I think the real name for them is 'cornus stolonifera'. I'll have to check and get back to you.

they are not spectacular in themselves, but they add winter interest with their colorful stems
