Hello everyone, I planted an egg-plant one week ago. I got it from walmart. It now has 3-4 leaves, but it has also developed a flower bud. Would it be in the best interest of the plant to pinch the bud off?

Would it be in the best interest of the plant to pinch the bud off? +++++++++++++++++++ I'm not a believer in removing the young flowers on any vegies, but some people do like them to get a more developed root system first. If the plant is capable of reproduction then the fruit will set i reckon. If not, it will probably drop the flower. Up to you really.
