Author Garden: leafy greens Frisha Great Gardener Member # 7621 posted                       Ok i am wantting to grow greens for salads in contianers and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on the type of containers that would work best for this. I am looking at growing these inside under florencet lights since it is still so cold outside. Finally got some tomatoes and pepper seeds planted a couple week's ago though. Still have the seeds for the greens but ended up putting some strawberries in the pot I picked up for them doh! Still want to grow them though but going to have to pick up another pot now. Thanks for asking though. And I was just wondering how you made out with your container??? Her'es my Swiss Chard... I won't pack it so filled next time... There was tooooo many in the one pot... Should have thinned them out but wasn't sure in the beginning who would make it or not.. But that was quite easy to do, and enjoyed it...
