Can it go in my pile to moisten it? I have always used it to water my plants, but wasn't sure about the compost??

Hey that is a good question Tonya!! I know I can't use mine now but when I bring the pond fish in... I know it has bio chemicals that break stuff down..Hmmm

Your fish water should be fine to use in the compost. What do you add to it that makes you wonder if it's suitable? If fish can live in it i'm sure it's OK.

I don't add anything other than when I add water to the tank to remove the ammonia and chlorine. I was hoping it was ok seeing as how I dumped it on the pile and THEN thought...I hope it is ok!! Thanks Longy!

nothin in that water that will hurt your compost.
better yet ,put it in your garden!
fish water from your tanks is a great fertilizer.
let your current plants have first crack at it!
