My friend has just moved into her new house and I was helping her weed one of the flowerbeds in her back garden over the weekend. The soil is quite waterlogged due to a blocked drain, and the soil was full of a bright orange pest of some kind. It was long and very thin with lots of legs, and looked like a centipede but I don't think it was. The flower bed is on a slant and there were loads of these things near the bottom of the flowerbed where the soil would have been pretty waterlogged.
Does anyone know what it is? My curiosity is driving me mad!!

There's a rusty millipede on there which I think might be what it was. Thanks for the pix, I googled it myself on Monday and couldn't find anything that matched!
