I was wondering about amaryllis. I read "How to Grow Amaryllis" on this site, but I have a question. It says after the leaves turn yellow to cut them back and remove the bulb and keep it in a cool dark place for at least 6-8 weeks. My question is after this 6-8 weeks, can I replant and it will grow or does it only grow certain times of the year?

you can replant it and it will grow. You can do this cycle throughout the year no problem. It's nice because you can have a flowering house plant for thanksgiving, or new years, or any time you want.
