Can I cut the heavy heads? reptileguy25 Gardener Member # 10086 posted                       The first head on my stout and thick sunflower stalk grew enormous and too heavy. Now my stalk keeps bending down. I supported it with strings but will it grow straight again? If I cut the head will it stunt the growth?
