I was reading on my apple cider vinegar bottle and it said it's good for keeping the flowers blooming. Has anyone tried this?

mix 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar and 2 tablespoons sugar with the vase water before adding the flowers. Be sure to change the water (with more vinegar and sugar, of course) every few days to enhance your flowers' longevity.

Interestiong article Longy,
I was going to say, I have heard of it as a
weed killer, at full strength..

But not actually on a growing plant in the ground..

But that article did say it was okay for
acid loving plants like Azalea's and Gardenias.

I am wondering if it's good or okay for tomatoes..

I would not think it would be okay for plants like an annual or hosta's or common plants...

I mix about a cap full to a gallon of water to water my plants on the porch. I got the 20% to spray weeds with. Have to be careful as if wind catches and blows back into your face with flat take your breath away I know from experience. [Big Grin] Also put it in my dog water and I drink about a half ounce in a quarter glass of water . Good for digestion as well as arthritis.
