My bird of paradise was hit with some freezing temps. this past winter. How can I cut of the dying leaves. The stalks are still green.

BoP's do well with pruning. I would just take the dead leaves off at the base of the stalk but not take the entire stalk off unless it is dead as well.

Yep, that's what the gardeners do here to the complex's BofP's. Ours are huge giants, and I watch the men cut off the dead outside stalks and anything ugly. They cut at the base of the stalks.
