I have about 42 salvia cuttings. Most of them are doing very well! [clappy] But by spring my house is going to be a forest!!

My question is: should they all have their own pots? Will they be full bushes when spring/summer comes or will they be small plants? My cuttings range in size from 2in-7in, I also have some root cuttings sprouting.

Thanks!

I would eventually pot them individually or you will have a massive tangle of roots and it may be difficult to separate them. I would wait six to eight weeks before doing it though to give them time to establish a root system. They won't be full bushy plants by spring, but usually just the one stem you started with. Once you plant them next spring they will grow into bigger plants.

Thanks! I was hoping to keep quite a few of them but was worried that I wouldn't have room.
