I have some Japanese littleleaf boxwoods. I have 10 growing as a hedge in a staright line to add as a hedge near my house. Ive had them for about 3 year already and have seen about 1 feet growing every year. Is there any fertilzer or spikes that will help them speed up the growth process. Also What solution is to make the leaves green as possible? Ive had some of my hedges turn a yellow or bronze color at times. Are theses plants still good if they turn to this color. Like i said is there a fertlizer to make them green? Or should i just replace them or cut the yellow leaves. There planted in the ground. How much water do they need? Please help!! zone 8b.

Hi! I used to have the Japanese boxwoods, and I watered them about twice a week, more often if the soil felt dry. As for fertilizers, I've found the Osmocote slow release to do a nice job on any plant. Good luck! [wayey]
