I have a 2 feet long White Indian Hawthorn and pretty soon its getting ready to flower. I believe next month. What do yall add so your Indian hawthorne can bloom with flowers? Also does it take full sun or shade for flowering? ZONE 8B.

HI! I checked my reference book for you...here's the gist of the info: Grow in soil-based potting soil in full light. In the growing season, water moderately and apply a balanced liquid fertilizer monthly. To propagate, Root semi-ripe cuttings in late summer. As for pruning, trim lightly to maintain shape; deadhead unless fruit is desired; Prune out deadwood in late spring. Hope this is helpful; sounds like a beautiful and unusual plant!

Oops, forgot to give you the technical name for your plant! It's Rhaphiolepis indica. Also, the info I gave you was meant for treatment as a houseplant...if you're growing it outdoors, let me know and I'll add that info. I wasn't sure.
