Last year Cindy sent me some gladiolas. I planted them, the green came up but they didn't bloom. So far they've done the same. Do you think I planted them too deep or is it too early for them to bloom?

sheri, it is too early for them to be blooming yet. i have green on mine, but they aren't even fully in bud yet. and you should be a couple of weeks behind mine. i'll let you know!

Thanks, I'll wait and see. I planted them about 1-1/2", I think.

HI [wayey] I live in zone 7 here in north alabama. mine have come up also but i agree it is to early for them to be blooming. there looking good so far though getting real tall.i think mine bloom abought the same time that my day lillys start to bloom. all my bearded iris are in bloom now.i also will let you know when mine start to put on the buds ok.your friend in gardening.mike57 [wayey] [flower] [flower]

my irises didn't bloom this year, but that was my fault. but next year... i'm hoping!

My Iris,s are getting ready to bloom I love them what colors do you have? I have the rebloomers about 7 different colors.
