... I just ran across this plant Orange Crown Imperial "Fritillaria imperialis aurora". And it says it has been shown to keep rodents and moles away. What a gorgeous pest control. They are in my new Brecks catalog along with a 25.00 coupon on purchases of 50.00 dollars or more. The flower makes me think of Hawaii but it says its good from zones 3 through 8.
