This snapdragon hijacked me on the way into Wally world. I brought it home and planted it and it has decided to lay down.

It's growing and producing blooms like crazy even though it's planted in almost solid clay. Is it going to hurt it laying down like that? If it is ok for it to do that I kind of like the look. But if it isn't I'll try to stake it.

Me I would water for a few days and see if it would pick up at all. I would soil ammend. Then if is was still laying down when the heat gets here I guess I might stake it. I think it is just a little shocky and a new plant and the soil is the main deal. Soil and water!

Tammy,
If you leave it lay on it's side,
what will happen to it, instead of the main
stem that would go up in the air, continue
to go up in the air...
The side leaves/stems, will shoot straight up and bloom for you, instead of one straight up,
you'll get a bunch from the side of the flower...

Weezie
