I live in zone 6 and bought a gardenia tree at Sam's last year and wintered in door all winter long. I put it out side on the deck last week and I guess a light freeze got it. All of the leaves are dead & when I cut into the stems they looked dead also. The trunk doesn't feel like it is dead. I was wondering if anyone has had any luck after a freeze or should I just throw it out and start again?
