I have a lucky bamboo planted in soil but its growing mold so i wanted to know if i can put it in a vase with only water???

I have grown it in water for a few years now - as long as you wash all the soil and mold off, I don't see why not...

if the stem is rotting where the mold is, you can cut it above, and root that part in water.
