I have a jade plant and it seems to be losing it leaves - the leaves dry and hard and then drop off. Am I watering it too much? Does it need better light?

They do like light so I would increase the amount they are getting but do it in increments so it doesn't get sunburned. It's not getting to much water or the leaves would be mushy. But you do need to give it more water when it is growing than when it is dormant. I don't know if that would cause the hard dry leaves or not. I'm just a beginner and mine is a sub species of jade not the tree.

you probably need more light...let the plant dry between waterings. they like tons of light.
