You know its spring when you open the mailbox and find all those catalogs each day . I am wondering if anyone has ever purchased the ornamental grasses from a catalog ? The reason I ask is the selection can never be duplicated in the local nurseries and I am wondering how long it takes for those little pots to grow into the picture?

It really depends on the type of ornamental grass. I've bought several through the mail...most took 3 years to get any real size and one of them took off in only one year.
