Hi All,
I try to do some research on the internet but didnt find the reason of why my Areca looks so bad. I like a lot plants but, even I am a scientist, I only know about particle physics... My Areca is around 1.5m tall and my place is 24C degres. I think that the humidity is quite low so I will buy soon a humidifier. I read that it is normal that the leaves go brown at the edges but then I found some leaves with holes in the midle, like if something ate it. I read also about some worms and then remember that one day I found an small worm close to the plant but now I looked carefully to the plant and didnt find any. It has a lot of black spots, more in the part close to the soil. I cut some branches today that were completely dead all the way to the root. I dont know if I could post any other usefull info, please let me know. I hope somebody can help. I could send pictures if somebody wants to have a look to it.
Thanks all!
Bobby

Bobby,
If you go to one of these sites, *and there is other's too, just can't remember the names*....

WebShots
PhotoBucket
Imagestation

It's FREE to download your pictures too....
Then you can attach the URL from the place you choose, copy and paste the URL, then click on the IMAGE botton, and insert the URL into there.
*there will be a highlighted blue http:/ thing there, either delete it or click your backspace button to get rid of it

I hope this helps..

Weezie

P/S There's some other gardener's that do use pictures alot and maybe able to help you alot better than I did, Afgreyparrot/Cindy, Loz, Jiffy, G~mom, Plants~n~Pots/Lynne, Carly....
tons of them know how and can give you a hand if you need it....Don't hestitate to ask!
