Has anyone ever heard of a product called "Rootone" or "Rooton"? Someone told me it would help produce quick roots on the pieces of Heart Leaf Philodendron I've been trying to grow.

I imagine this product you're talking about is some kind of hormone powder ? If so I regularly use it with my cuttings - I've had good success with philodendron, pothos, dracaena and a ti plant. The way to go is to dip the cutting into the powder, shake off the excess then plant it into the rooting media.

Rootone is a rooting hormone, as Crabby indicated. It can help with rooting, but not as much as claimed. Having a healthy cutting, a good potting mix, and keeping the soil properly moist are far more important factors.
