My aloe plant just won't stay standing up. My friend (who knows nothing about plants and is just taking a guess) says that I need to water it more. The plant needs more water to hold in each branch in order to stand up. I had it in my kitchen window and it grew like a weed. I've tried tying the largest stalks together to hold them up but that didn't help much. A girl at work had a HUGE aloe plant that only a branch or two would fall over but she had hers tied together also. Her plant was about 3 feet tall. Is there anything that can be done for this or is that just what happens to them?

lxygurl, that is just what happens to them. i have never seen an upright aloe that was not tied or staked up. but, if it is growing like a weed, DON'T CHANGE THE WATERING SCHEDULE! it is happy with you if it is growing that well, enjoy it!
