The ones I have bought I do. I have a little folder marked with their names, I'm a little too organized my hubby says. But I have three in the backyard that came with the house and I don't know their names. Not sure how to go about finding out either. [dunno]

Yup, I've bought alot of roses and know them all even all the ones that died on me. I try to push my zone but it never works for my roses. Anyone know of some newer hardy roses? What kinds do you have?

Tamara, do you get the Jackson Perkins catalog for roses? They would be the best place I can think of for hardy ones, but they are expensive.

Jackson Perkins

Here is the Canadian Rose Society's webpage. Maybe they have some suggestions for your area.

J&P is more than the corner department store's bushes, but they are worth it.

Thanks gardengal but Jackson won't send a catalogue to Canada. Their loss. It seems that the floribundas have no problem with the cold. I bought ten hybrid Teas and lost them all. I am looking for a replacement for my cherry-vanilla variety that can take the cold. The best roses I bought were at Canadian tire.

Mean old Jackson Perkins. Sorry about that. I belive the hybrid teas and minis are a little more sensitive to temp then the good old shrub floribunda roses. Good luck finding some. [grin] I love roses, they are probably my favorite flower. [flower]

I found this site...you can search for roses by several catagories, such as color, zone, type, ect.

Seems to work really well!
