Planted two this summer. Of course they are no longer blooming, but the foliage is still green and they are about 2-3 feet tall. Do I cut them down to the ground for winter? Hate to lose them. I live in NE Ohio. Thanks. Donna

I have several of them--mine already dropped their leaves and turned brown.....they'll come back next year when you cut them down.....last year mine got totally stripped by something....one day they were there next day--nothing but a stalk......and they still came back this year....I thought I'd lost them.....When you cut them back just remember where you planted them so you don't dig at them when spring comes......
