I have a small magnolia I planted about a year ago. The edges of the leaves are brown and dead looking. What's wrong?

hi..i am curious if they have been brown on the edges all year, or just now this time of year?

i work on alot of properties with established magnolia, and i have noticed many of them turning brown. i think it is the time of year, and they are getting ready to go dormant and shed their leaves.

if it has always been brown, then you may have a different problem on your hand...i hope not though..

there is nothing like the showy spring display of a magnolia!! i ADORE them!

good luck..hope someone can help you out.
