Hi, I am VERY new to gardening. I ordered some bee balm lst year via the internet and grew a great crop. This year its virtually gone! Where did I go wrong? My garden is full sun. I built the garden with good soil, I do water alot, but I did not see mold or anything on the plants. I am fearful of planting it again, yet I hear it is really easy to grow. Also, as it is toward the end of June in Kentucky, is it to late to start some plants this year?

Hi Mary, Sorry to hear this. It is usually an easy plant to grow, but I didn't have success with my first try either. Maybe it was where I put it. I got more from a friend and it's thriving now. You might want to sow the seeds in the garden where you want them to grow. That way the strong ones should survive. Take a look here for some growing info. It's worth a try if you have the seeds.
