My daffodils have all turned yellow (leaves) now and so I cut them back. I would like to cover with mulch and put a container there for flowers. The thing is will it hurt the daffodils? thanks

It's alright to mulch your daffodils. I've done it myself, though I did before they flowered.

it wont hurt your daffodils, i do it every year.
