I have a bird of paradise plant that is 6 or 7 years old. Bought at a garden store as a small plant. It is in a container but has never bloomed. Can someone tell me what to do to make this plant bloom?

Pat356res,

Our [Nicolai] Bird of Paradise bloomed after
8 years; you don't have to wait that long. And, yes, they are also in containers (17" plastic pots).

To learn more about Bird Of Paradise (BoP), please do a "google" search (on top of this page); type: bird of paradise and click search. TheGardenHelper.com will give you a lot of info on BoP.
