I have been trying to root a Passiflora quadrangularis cutting for nearly 2 & a half months now. I had two cuttings, 1 that I tried to root with hormone in a vermiculite/perlite mix. It died quickly. I have been trying to root the second cutting in a glass of water. While it is still green & seems to be alive, nothing seems to be happening even after all this time. No new growth & no roots. It has dropped a few leaves, but it hasn't died. This plant is my BIGGEST passion. I have wanted this variety of passiflora for years. I practically had to trade my soul to get these two cuttings & it will just kill me if I lose this last cutting. Can anyone offer a suggestion on rooting. Or shall I just let it go & see what happens?
Passiflora quadrangularis photos Thanks for any help you can offer:)

I don't have a lot of info on passiflora, but the information I do have says to use rooting hormone (like you did). Make a hole in the potting mix instead of pushing the cutting in to retain more of the hormone. Water with a fungicide and enclose with glass jar or a plastic bag to prevent water loss. Make sure it gets adequate light.
