Hi,

How about Tuberous Begonias or Caladiums, they might work.

Well I don't have any bulb suggestions..been racking my brain on that one. But, I have a hanging basket with trailing soapwort that looks gorgeous. Very airy & light. I started them from seed & they grow fairly quickly.

This is kind of tough as most bulbs don't bloom for a long time so they likely wouldn't be suitable for hanging baskets for more than a short period. But after looking through one of my bulb books I came up with a few suggestions.

The best two I already new of would be cyclamen and oxalis as they are two of the longer blooming bulbs (not cascading though), but I found one I had never heard of that is excellent for hanging backets.

Here are a couple of links Teas Nursery from Louisana and achimines pictures
Achimines is actually a rhizome though, not a true bulb

thanks terry. first of all, i should have put this in mystery plants, but wasn't thing at the time, and don't want to move it now. second, the plant i am looking for is more tubers than true bulbs. third, i love the pages, especially the one, getting all kinds of neat ideas!
